Parkland College Arba Minch (PCA) provides students with a very friendly and welcoming environment to enhance their potential. It is not only an institution from which students will acquire knowledge and skills but, it also creates the most comfortable environment for them to contribute to the knowledge, skills and experience-building and sharing endeavours. Different forums are put in place to help students practice their leadership, management, presentation, research, debate and critical thinking skills. Our college help students grow personally, academically, professionally, and socially.

PCA has a well-established culture of quality assurance and enhancement practices. To ensure that its services are of high quality and standard, the college involves practitioners, academicians and researchers in its teaching and assessment. This allows students to see the convergence and/or divergence between theory and practice.

Parkland College has been a premier choice for both boys and girls because it has a safe college. More than 60% of diplomas and more than one-third of the graduate students are female. The College takes extra care of its students. To this effect, the College has implemented systems that help students exercise their rights.

Currently, Parkland College has one college. It is located at the heart of Arba Minch – Sikela Square. The college is 5 and 2 kilometres away from Shecha and Limat respectively. The college is accessible for students coming from and going in different directions. One can catch a taxi/bajaj a couple of seconds walk away from the college to go to any direction of the city.

ፓርክላንድ ኮሌጅ አርባ ምንጭ (ፓኮአ) ለተማሪዎቹ ምቹና ተስማሚ የሆነ አካባቢን በመፍጠር ተማሪዎች ያላቸውን አቅም አውጥተው እንዲጠቀሙ ያመቻቻል። ተማሪዎች እውቀትና ክህሎት የሚቀስሙበት ተቋም ብቻ ሳይሆን በእውቀት፣ በክህሎት እና በልምድ ግንባታ እና በመጋራት ስራዎች ላይ የበኩላቸውን አስተዋፅዖ የሚያደርጉበት ምቹ ሁኔታን ይፈጥራል። ተማሪዎች የመሪነት፣ የአመራር፣ የአቀራረብ፣ የምርምር፣ የውይይት እና የአስተሳሰብ ችሎታቸውን እንዲለማመዱ ለመርዳት የተለያዩ መድረኮች ተዘጋጅተዋል። ኮሌጃችን ተማሪዎች በግላቸው፣ በአካዳሚክ፣ በሙያተኛ እና በማህበራዊ ደረጃ እንዲያድጉ ያግዛቸዋል።

ፓርክላንድ ኮሌጅ የጥራት ማረጋገጫ እና የማጎልበቻ ልምምዶች በሚገባ የተረጋገጠ ባህል አለው። ኮሌጁ አገልግሎቶቹ ከፍተኛ ጥራት ያላቸው እና ደረጃቸውን የጠበቁ መሆናቸውን ለማረጋገጥ በማስተማር እና ምዘና ውስጥ ባለሙያዎችን፣ ምሁራንን እና ተመራማሪዎችን ያካትታል። ይህ ተማሪዎች በንድፈ ሃሳብ እና በተግባር መካከል ያለውን ውህደት እና/ወይም ልዩነት እንዲመለከቱ ያስችላቸዋል።

ፓርክላንድ ኮሌጅ ደህንነቱ የተጠበቀ ኮሌጅ ስላለው ለወንዶች እና ለሴቶች ቀዳሚ ምርጫ ነው። ከ60% በላይ ዲፕሎማዎች እና ከተመራቂ ተማሪዎች ውስጥ ከአንድ ሶስተኛ በላይ የሚሆኑት ሴቶች ናቸው። ኮሌጁ ለተማሪዎቹ የበለጠ እንክብካቤ ያደርጋል። ለዚህም ኮሌጁ ተማሪዎች መብቶቻቸውን እንዲጠቀሙ የሚያግዙ ሥርዓቶችን ተግባራዊ አድርጓል።

በአሁኑ ጊዜ፣ ፓርክላንድ ኮሌጅ አንድ ኮሌጅ አለው። በአርባ ምንጭ - ሲቀላ አደባባይ እምብርት ላይ ይገኛል። ኮሌጁ ከሼቻ እና ከልማት በቅደም ተከተል 5 እና 2 ኪሎ ሜትር ርቀት ላይ ይገኛል። ኮሌጁ ከተለያዩ አቅጣጫዎች ለሚመጡ እና ለሚሄዱ ተማሪዎች ተደራሽ ነው። ወደ የትኛውም የከተማዋ አቅጣጫ ለመሄድ ከኮሌጁ ከአንድ ደቂቃ ባነሰ በእግር ጉዞ ታክሲ/ባጃጅ መያዝ ይችላል።

Free Scholarshipነጻ የትምህርት እድል

Parkland College will award a free scholarship to the student who wins the trophy among graduating students. ፓርክላንድ ኮሌጅ ከተመራቂ ተማሪዎች መካከል የዋንጫ ሽልማትን የሚያሸንፈውን ተማሪ ነጻ የትምህርት እድል ይሰጣል።

Also, our college provides the opportunity to study for free for those students who cannot pay for it. To use this opportunity, a letter of support from the government is required. Since we offer free education to a limited number of students, the college reserves the right to hold an entrance exam if there are more applications than the number of students allowed by the college. እንዲሁም ኮሌጃችን ከፍለው መማር ለማይችሉ ተማሪውች በነጻ የመማር እድልን የሚያመቻች ሲሆን ይህን እድል ለመጠቀም ከመንግስት በኩል የድጋፍ ደብዳሜ ማጻፍ ያስፈልጋል። ነጻ የትምህርት እድል የምንሰጠው ለውስን ተማሪዎች ስለሚሆን ኮሌጁ ከሚሰጠው የተማሪዎች ቁጥር በላይ ጥያቄዎች ከቀረቡ ኮሌጁ የመግቢያ ፈተና የመስጠት መብቱ የተጠበቀ ይሆናል።
